UNCW withdraws from Zootown Classic

MISSOULA, Mont. – The UNCW men's basketball team will not participate in the remaining two games of the 2021 Zootown Classic due to a flu outbreak on the team. The Seahawks were scheduled to play Montana on Thursday and UC San Diego on Friday during the four-team, round-robin tournament.
More information, including ticket refunds, will be available in the near future.
Still scheduled is Thursday's game between UC San Diego and Southern Miss (5 p.m.) and Friday's contest featuring the Griz and Golden Eagles (7:30 p.m.). Thursday's game will be free admission for all fans.
Montana defeated UC San Diego, 71-61, on Thursday night, while Southern Miss beat UNCW, 80-66.
