Montana opened Big Sky Conference play last week with matches against two of the top teams in the league. The Griz had several strong individual performances, which highlighted the week.

Despite her name being mispronounced, junior right-side hitter Catie Semadeni shined bright in her home state. Semadeni recorded 11 kills on .360 hitting.
