
Postponed Lady Griz game rescheduled for Jan. 24

The first of two women's basketball games between Montana and Montana State this season has been rescheduled and now will be played on Monday, Jan. 24, in Bozeman.

Tipoff has tentatively been set for 7 p.m.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 8, the game was bumped back to Sunday the 9th to accommodate Montana State playing in the FCS national championship game.

On Monday it was announced that the game on the 9th would be postponed because of COVID-19 issues within the Bobcat program.

The new schedule will have Montana playing an NBA-like five games in 10 days, three of them on the road.

Montana will host Portland State and Northern Arizona on Thursday and Saturday, Jan. 20 and 22, then face Montana State in Bozeman on the 24th.

The Lady Griz will play at Idaho and Eastern Washington on Thursday and Saturday, Jan. 27 and 29.
