8/25/2022 3:52:00 PM | Football
The Bobby Hauck Radio Show returns to "the most beautiful coaches show setting in the country" in 2022, set to air each week LIVE from the banks of the Clark Fork River in Missoula at FINN Restaurant inside the DoubleTree Hotel.
Â
Beginning August 31, the Coach Hauck Show will air statewide each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. throughout the season, giving fans the chance to catch up on all things Griz football while enjoying views of the river from one of the city's favorite outdoor dining spots. Â
Â
Hauck and "Voice of the Griz" Riley Corcoran will recap the previous week's action and give fans an exclusive preview of the upcoming opponent.
Â
Originating from 98.3 KGVO FM in Missoula, the flagship station on the Grizzly Sports Radio Network, the Coach Hauck Show will be broadcast to every corner of the state on seven of its 15 affiliate stations.
Â
Grizzly football will have an even bigger footprint this season with games airing on affiliates in Billings, Butte, and as far afield as Glasgow, Plentywood and Glendive.
Â
In Billings, KBLG ESPN Radio returns as the home of the Griz on both the AM and FM dials in the Magic City. While in Butte, KOPR "Copper 94" will broadcast the Grizzlies in the Mining City and its translators in Boulder and Phillipsburg.
Your "Grizzly Gameday" starts two hours before kickoff each Saturday with the official pregame radio show featuring Denny Bedard and Scott Gurnsey who then throw to Corcoran and long-time color commentator Greg Sundberg 30 minutes to kickoff. Bedard and Gurnsey will also wrap up the day's action with the official post-game show.Â
 Â
Griz fans outside the radio footprint can stream all of Montana's broadcasts on their mobile device LIVE and FREE of charge with the Varsity Network App, powered by Learfield and Sidearm Sports.
Â
Fans can download the app for iPhone or Android use for instant access to free gameday audio streams and the Coach Hauck Radio Show and receive push notifications to remind them of games starting or upcoming audio broadcasts as well.
Â
Corcoran will also take you on an exclusive look behind the scenes of Grizzly Athletics each week of the season with the "Inside the Den" Podcast, featuring game previews, highlights, and interviews from throughout the department.
The 2022 season marks the seventh behind the mic for Corcoran. The Billings native is a three-time winner of the National Sports Media Association (NSMA) Montana Broadcaster of the Year Award, winning in 2018, 2019, and 2020, and was a finalist for the award in 2015 and 2021. He has won numerous other broadcasting awards, including "Best Sports Program" in 2012 by the Idaho State Broadcasters Association for his work at 630 The Fan in Boise, "Best Sports Play-by-Play" honors from the ISBA.
