It's a busy week for Griz Athletics, with fall sports in full swing and winter sports beginning. Below is a look at all of the things happening in Griz Athletics over the next week-plus!

Griz-O-Ween
Tuesday, Oct. 31 | 6-8 p.m. | Adams Center
Spend Halloween with Griz student-athletes! Hosted by UM's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Athletics Diversity & Inclusion Committee (ADIC), Griz Athletics is once again hosting Griz-O-Ween!

This free Halloween event offers the opportunity for the community to come to campus and trick-or-treat with Griz student-athletes.
Â
Arts and crafts, games and other fun Halloween-related activities will also be available at the event, which runs from 6-8 p.m. in the West Auxiliary Gym inside the Adams Center. Admission is free!

Lady Griz vs. Saint Martin's
Wednesday, Nov. 1 | 7 p.m. | Dahlberg Arena | Tickets
Get your first glimpse of the Lady Griz, as they host Saint Martin's on Wednesday night, for the team's only exhibition. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to arrive to campus early for the premiere of 'Native Ball: Legacy of a Trailblazer', which will be showing in the University Center Theater. A social hour begins at 5 p.m., followed by the 30-minute movie at 6 and a brief panel afterward.

More than a dozen former Lady Griz players are expected to be on hand, including Malia Kipp, a member of the Blackfeet tribe who the film is based on. The event is free.

Griz Volleyball vs. Northern Arizona
Thursday, Nov. 2 | 7 p.m. | Dahlberg Arena | Tickets
The Griz volleyball team has won three straight home matches, defeating rivals Montana State, Idaho and Eastern Washington over the past several weeks. The Griz now return to Missoula to face Northern Arizona in a pivotal Big Sky matchup.

Arrive early to collect your free Griz volleyball trading cards, which will be available at each of the remaining four home matches (freshman class available on Thursday).

Griz Volleyball vs. Northern Colorado
Saturday, Nov. 4 | 12 p.m. | Dahlberg Arena | Tickets
Prior to football's night game vs. Sacramento State, get the day started with Griz volleyball! Montana hosts the defending Big Sky champion Northern Colorado Bears at noon, feeding perfectly into football tailgating after the match.

Griz Football vs. Sacramento State
Saturday, Nov. 4 | 6 p.m. | Washington-Grizzly Stadium | Tickets
Limited tickets remain for this top-10 matchup featuring No. 3 Montana and No. 7 Sacramento State. The Griz have won four consecutive games overall, including last week's 40-0 victory over Northern Colorado. Dating back to 2019, Montana is 25-2 inside Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

Don't miss this crucial Big Sky Conference clash, which is also the Grizzlies' annual Military Appreciation Game.

Griz Soccer at the Big Sky tournament
While it won't be happening on campus, be sure to tune in to Griz soccer's Big Sky Conference semifinal game at 7 p.m. on Friday night on ESPN+.

The Griz went unbeaten in Big Sky play this fall to win the league's regular-season title. Montana is playing as the No. 1 seed this week in Flagstaff, Arizona. A win on Friday would advance the Grizzlies to the title game, on Sunday at 1 p.m., also on ESPN+.

Looking Ahead
Basketball season officially opens next week, with the Lady Griz hosting Gonzaga (Monday, Nov. 6) and the Griz playing Northwest Indian College (Tuesday, Nov. 7). Gonzaga was an NCAA tournament team in 2023 and is currently receiving top-25 votes.

Season tickets start at just $79 for the women and $99 for the men. Mini plans (8 or 5 games) are also available, as are single-game tickets! Both the men and women were picked to finish in the top three of the Big Sky Conference preseason polls.
