Montana hosts Furman in Friday Night Quarterfinal

The Montana Grizzlies will host the Furman Paladins in the FCS Quarterfinals on Friday, Dec. 8, under the lights at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

Kickoff in the rematch of the 2001 National Championship game is set for 7 p.m. (MT) in Missoula. Â
The game will be broadcast to millions of TV sets nationwide on ESPN2.

No. 2 Montana (11-1) advanced to the quarterfinals after beating Delaware 49-19 under the lights in a Saturday snowstorm.

No. 7 Furman (10-2) earned a trip to the quarterfinals after beating Chattanooga 26-7 at Paladin Stadium in Greenville, South Carolina.

Tickets to Friday's quarterfinal game go on sale to season ticket holders beginning at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. Season ticket holders then have until Tuesday at 12 p.m. to purchase their seats.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5. at GrizTix.com. The Adams Center box office will also be open at 5 p.m., leading up to the men's basketball game that evening.
Student tickets for the quarterfinals are free and can be accessed starting Sunday at noon. Limited guest passes are available for $10.
With the Friday night football game, Montana's men's basketball game vs. Montana Tech has been moved to Saturday at 1 p.m. The Lady Griz game vs. Colorado State will remain at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Those who have tickets to the men's game can also get into the women's game for free.
