The Inside the Den podcast returns as fall sports are starting to gear up toward the 2023 season. The "Voice of the Griz" Riley Corcoran is joined by a trio of Grizzly head coaches beginning with football's Bobby Hauck before continuing with volleyball's Allison Lawrence and soccer's Chris Citowicki.Â
Hauck and Corcoran discuss Montana's fall camp progress, the strengths and question marks surrounding the team, and a day in the life of a member of Griz football during August. The Grizzlies kick off their season Sep. 2 at home against Butler with a noon kick.
The defending Big Sky Coach of the Year Allison Lawrence discusses the growth in the program and the mindset of the team following a 17-12 record in 2022. They will look to build on the best season since 1999 with a new confidence, but take on a schedule that features a Final Four team and another ranked opponent in Missoula for the Ellesyn Invitational at the end of August.
The podcast concludes with Chris Citowicki joining Corcoran to talk about the big picture in terms of Griz soccer. They go in depth on the upcoming season and hitting the reset button, the championship pedigree for Griz soccer and the roster as a whole. The Grizzlies return plenty of veteran leadership, as well as one of the best transfer classes in program history.Â
