Vote for the Griz – “Black Outs” up for FCS Uniform of the Year

Montana's "Black Out" football uniforms are up for a national award, and fans can vote for the Griz as the best in the FCS.
Online uniform tracker UNISWAG has nominated the Grizzlies Black Out jerseys as a contender for FCS Uniform of the Year.
Voting for FCS Uniform of the Year is conducted by online votes and is now open to the public. Voting closes on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. (MT).

Montana is one of 10 nominees for the award from the FCS ranks alongside Austin Peay, Missouri State, Montana State, North Alabama, North Dakota, Princeton, Sacramento State, Towson, and Youngstown State.
The Grizzlies premiered the new black out uniforms at the Sept. 16 night game against Ferris State in Missoula, a 17-10 win for UM. The Griz wore the blackout jerseys a second time in the 35-28 win over Furman in the FCS Playoffs.
The jerseys featured a black field with maroon numbers outlined in white on the chest and shoulders, with a small MONTANA across the chest in white. The pants featured maroon and white racing stripes down the side with a maroon belt. The traditional silver helmet complimented the look with a black Griz paw on the back.
