Weather cuts short opening day of Rumble in the Rockies

Weather delays – first lightning, then wind and rain – wreaked havoc on the opening day of the Rumble in the Rockies at South Campus Stadium in Missoula.
Montana's season-opening match with Colorado College, scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, will now be played at 10 a.m. on Friday with free admission.
Sunday's schedule – Iowa vs. Colorado College at 11 a.m., Montana vs. Oregon State at 2 p.m. – remains the same.
Iowa built a 2-0 lead on Oregon State through halftime of Thursday's opening match before lengthy lightning delays arrived.
The teams made it back onto the field and played less than one minute of the second half when more lightning delays arrived, then heavy winds and rain.
The match was eventually suspended and will either be resumed at some point or fully abandoned.
