The Montana Grizzlies are getting back on the road and coming to a town near you!
Â
The Grizzly Scholarship Association Spring Tour – a statewide caravan of University of Montana coaches, administrators, and athletic department staff – returns to the road with two new stops in 2025, totaling 10 events around the Treasure State.
Â
From Butte to Billings, Columbia Falls to Cut Bank and beyond, the Spring Tour logs nearly 4,000 miles from the mountains to the prairie, visiting local GSA chapters in a month-long celebration of Grizzly Athletics.
Â
"The GSA Spring Tour is an awesome time of year. Our fans make so much effort to come see us, and the Spring Tour allows us to go see them, thank them for their loyalty, and raise much-needed funds for student-athlete scholarships," said GSA Director Coleson Randall.
Â
"We look forward to seeing everyone again, and we thank our chapters who have organized fun events for us all to reconnect."
Â
Throughout the months of May and June, GSA chapters around Montana roll out the welcome mat with barbecues, golf outings, and socials, giving local fans the chance to socialize with staff, win auction items, and support student-athletes.
Â
UM representatives set to travel the state include athletic director Kent Haslam, head football coach Bobby Hauck, head men's basketball coach Travis DeCuire, just to name a few.
Â
New in 2025, the Flathead Valley Chapter of the GSA welcomes fans to the Grizzly Golf Classic Presented by Summit Beverage in a new location at Meadow Lake in Columbia Falls. The Grizzly Golf Classic kicks off the annual Spring Tour on May 9, with check-in set for 9 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Â
The convoy then heads to Great Falls for the GSA Griz BBQ with a full host of UM dignitaries on hand at the Civic Center Convention Hall on Tuesday, May 13, with more than 500 fans expected to attend. The week in the Golden Triangle continues with golf events in Cut Bank on May 14, and Fort Benton on May 15.
Â
May 19 will see the Grizzly roadshow hit the Hi-Line and Eastern Montana with a lunch stop in Havre at Tilleman Motors and dinner in Glasgow at the Sunnyside Country Club.
Â
The Eastern swing will also feature a new venue in 2025, with Cottonwood Country Club in Glendive hosting the Griz on May 20. The Sidney Chapter of the GSA moved its tournament to Glendive this year to accommodate the Montana High School State C Championship at the Sidney Country Club.
Â
After several hugely successful years, the Billings GSA chapter will once again play host to one of the premiere stops on the Spring Tour, hosting a barbecue, social, and auction at Camelot Ranch on May 21.
Â
The Tour then returns to central Montana for a golf tournament at the Bill Roberts Golf Course in Helena on May 29, followed by the annual Butte Auto – Coors Light Grizzly Golf Tournament in Butte, America, on May 30.
Â
The Spring Tour wraps up in Ronan with a golf tournament at the Mission Mountain Golf Club on June 6.
