GSA Spring Tour coming to a town near you in 2026

The Grizzly Scholarship Association Spring Tour – a statewide caravan of University of Montana coaches, administrators, and athletic department staff – returns to the road in 2026 with 10 stops in every corner of the Treasure State.
From Butte to Billings, Columbia Falls to Cut Bank and beyond, the Spring Tour logs nearly 4,000 miles from the mountains to the prairie, visiting local GSA chapters in a month-long celebration of Grizzly Athletics.
New Grizzly football head coach Bobby Kennedy will be on hand at each stop this year to meet fans as UM representatives travel the state along with athletic director Kent Haslam, head men's basketball coach Travis DeCuire, and Lady Griz head coach Nate Harris, just to name a few.
"The GSA Spring Tour is one of our favorite times of the year. Our fans make so much effort to come see us, and the Spring Tour allows us to go see them, thank them for their loyalty, and raise much-needed funds for student-athlete scholarships," said GSA Director Coleson Randall.
"We look forward to introducing Coach Kennedy and our dedicated staff to everyone on this year's tour, and we thank our chapters who have organized fun events for us all to connect."
Throughout the months of May and June, GSA chapters around Montana roll out the welcome mat with barbecues, golf outings, and socials, giving local fans the chance to socialize with staff, win auction items, and support student-athletes.
Following a successful first year at the venue in 2025, the Flathead Valley Chapter of the GSA returns to Meadow Lake in Columbia Falls in 2026 for the Grizzly Golf Classic Presented by Summit Beverage. The Grizzly Golf Classic kicks off the annual Spring Tour on May 8, with check-in set for 9 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
The convoy then heads to Great Falls for the GSA Griz BBQ with a full host of UM dignitaries on hand at the Civic Center Convention Hall on Tuesday, May 12, with more than 500 fans expected to attend. The Golden Triangle swing continues with golf events in Cut Bank on May 13, and Fort Benton on May 14.
May 18 will see the Grizzly roadshow hit the Hi-Line and Eastern Montana with a lunch stop in Havre at Tilleman Motors and dinner in Glasgow at the Sunnyside Country Club.
The Sidney Country Club returns as this year's host on the eastern side of the state with an 18-hole golf scramble, dinner, and silent auction starting at noon on May 19.
After several hugely successful years, the Billings GSA chapter will once again play host to one of the premiere stops on the Spring Tour, hosting a barbecue, social, and auction at Camelot Ranch on May 20.
The Tour then returns to Helena on May 28, followed by the annual Butte Auto/Coors Light Grizzly Golf Tournament in Butte, America, on May 29.
The Spring Tour wraps up in Ronan with a golf tournament at the Mission Mountain Golf Club on June 5.
