No. 10 Washington scored twice in the opening seven minutes and added a pair of second-half goals to defeat the Montana soccer team 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at Husky Soccer Stadium in Seattle.

The Huskies (3-0-0), who advanced to the national quarterfinals in last year's NCAA tournament, improved to 18-3-7 since the start of the 2025 season.

In a rematch of last year's NCAA tournament first-round game at Husky Soccer Stadium, Washington got up early quickly on Sunday and stayed on top the rest of the way with a strong defensive effort.

The Grizzlies (0-3-0) were limited to three shots. Megan Wilson-Sofield put both of hers on goal, with Elli Lewis also getting a shot off.

Jill Miliffe made her first collegiate start in goal and finished with three saves while playing all 90 minutes.

Anna Menti scored in the fourth minute and Lucy Newlin converted a penalty kick at 6:04 to put Montana in an early hole.

Alex Buck, who scored both of Washington's goals in the Huskies' 2-0 NCAA tournament win over the Grizzlies in November, made it 3-0 in the 48th minute with her first goal of the season.

Angelica Chou scored the match's final goal in the 66th minute.

Montana will host Lethbridge on Thursday at 5 p.m. at South Campus Stadium, MSU Billings at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
