2015: Jake will be in the mix to start at safety.

2014: Jake was a key member of Montana’s special teams. He played in 13 games and had one start at North Dakota. He had a total of 20 tackles with eight unassisted. He also had a breakup and a forced fumble against South Dakota.

2013: He played in all 13 games and had 11 tackles. He was moved from wide receiver back to his original position of safety in the spring.

2012: He was a squad member at UM.

2011: He redshirted at Montana.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was an outstanding wrestler at Butte High School, where he had a career record of 100-8, and won state championships in 2008 (at 105 pounds) and 2011 (when he went 34-2 at 160 pounds), and was the runner-up in 2009)...team captain in wrestling his senior year...second team all-state at wide receiver and safety as a senior...lettered four times in wrestling, three times in football, and twice in track...his prep coaches were Arie Grey in football and Kevin Parvinen in wrestling.
