He was team captain in football as a senior. He was a three-year letterman in football at Woodinville High School. His prep football coach was Wayne Maxwell. His senior team placed third in the state football playoffs and had a 12-1 record. He also lettered in track. He’s a three-time academic all-league selection. He was a member of the National Honor Society.
