2010-11: Art played in all 32 games last season and started in the last 18. He was UM's third leading rebounder (tied, 3.6 rpg) and fourth in scoring (8.6 ppg). He scored in double figures in 12 games. He received Montana's Naseby Rhinehart Award (Most Inspirational Player). He was ranked sixth in the Big Sky Conference in field goal percentage (.495).
Junior College: He was named All-Region 9, all-conference and named to Region 9 all-tourney squad as a sophomore at Casper College...tabbed All-Region 9 "Defensive Player of the Year"...averaged 14.8 points and 4.0 rebounds a game a year ago for his 24-9 team...his Casper team advanced to the national junior college region finals, and he averaged 20 points a game there...coach at Casper was Joel Davidson...also a team captain in junior college last year...played one season at Wallace State CC in Alabama.
High School: He was a member of two state championship teams at Natrona County High School in Casper his sophomore and senior seasons and was named tourney MVP in both championship games...chosen all-state three times and all-conference four times...three-time team MVP...played on the Wyoming All-Star team.
Personal: His major is psychology. Birth date: November 14, 1988. His parents are Abe and Arlene Steward of Casper.
