2018: Expected to lead Montana’s punting game as a senior… To begin his senior campaign, Williams recorded 287 yards on seven punts, knocking four inside the 20, with a long of 49 yards against UNI (9/1) ... Williams saw action in every game this season for the Grizzlies and added a valuable element to the Grizzly special teams attack ... With 57 punts on the season, Williams punted for a total of 2,155 yards (41.4 yards per punt) with 25 punts being fair caught and 19 being knocked inside the 20-yard line.
2017: Academic All-Big Sky … Served as the punter in all 11 of Montana’s games and handled kickoffs in six games … Had 53 punts for 2,399 yards … Averaged 42.1 yards per-punt … Had six punts of 50+ yards … Placed 22 punts inside the 20 … 27 of his punts resulted in a fair catch … Had 36 kickoffs for 1934 yards … Averaged 53.7 yards per-kick … Only four kickoffs resulted in touchbacks, three went out of bounds … Posted a career-long punt of 61 yards in his final game as a Grizzly in the 118th Brawl of the Wild … Averaged a season-high 53.2 yards per-punt in that game as well … Had nine kickoffs for 508 yards against Savannah State, both season high marks
2016: Academic All-Big Sky ... Williams played in all 11 games, handling punt duties for Montana … Had 50 punts for 2,040 yards, an average of 40.8 yards per punt … Had a long of 59 yards in the final game of the season against Montana State … Had seven punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line … Had five punts of 50+ yards … Had 16 punts end with a fair catch … Two punts went into the endzone for a touchback … Had 10 punts against Northern Iowa for 389 yards … Had three punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line in the rivalry game with Montana State …  Also had four kickoffs for 217 yards.
2015: Transferred to Montana from Carleton College, a D-III institution in Northfield, Minn.
2014: Played in 10 games as a true freshman at Carleton College… Punted 60 times for 2,177 yards with a long of 59 yards… Named MIAC Special Teams Player of the Week in Nov. 2014 after punting five times for 171 yards in a snowstorm, averaging nearly 35 yards-per-punt with a long of 44 yards… Finished second tied for second in the MIAC with an average of 36.3 yards per punt, and was alone in second with 15 inside the 20 and 11 fair catches… His long of 59 yards was tied for fifth-best in the MIAC.
HIGH SCHOOL: Williams was a two-time Montana state champion in 2012 and 13 under coach Troy Walters at Loyola… Was a three-year letter winner and two-year starter as a kicker/punter…  Played in 22 games as a starter… Averaged 62-yard kickoffs his senior season… Went 93/109 on PATs as a two-year starter… Went 6/9 on field goals as a two-year starter with a career long of 42 yards… Averaged 45.3 yards-per-punt as a senior with a long punt of 60 yards… Put 12 punts inside the 20-yard line on 20 attempts as a senior… Trained under former Grizzly and NFL punter Dallas Neil.
PERSONAL: A Missoula native and graduate of Loyola Sacred Heart… Two-time academic all-state award winner in soccer, ski racing, and football… Volunteered at St. Patrick’s Hospital and sat on the St. Patrick’s Hospital Junior Board of Directors…Majoring in finance at UM ... Presented the Michael R. Jorgensen Endowment scholarship at the 2017 Scholar Athlete Awards Banquet ... Earned a prestigious internship at Goldman Sachs in the 2018 offseason.
