2016-17 (Redshirt): Redshirted during his only season at Montana.
High School: Started his prep career at Wilson high school in Tacoma, Wash., where he helped the Rams to the 3A state semifinals his sophomore year… Transferred to Garfield high school in Seattle his junior year where he won the 3A state championship as a junior… Scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the championship game… Finished third at the state 3A tournament his senior year at Garfield, marking three-straight trips to the 3A semifinal game… Averaged 13 points and a team-high 6.7 rebounds-per-game his senior year at Garfield… Posted a game-high 35 points and 19 rebounds in a win over eventual state champion Rainer Beach… Posted 10 rebounds in a 66-61 state quarterfinal game… Was listed as a three-star recruit on national recruiting sites Scout and Rivals, and a two-star recruit by ESPN… Chose Montana over Boise State and Rice University, also had offers from Pepperdine, Portland State, San Diego and Utah State.

On the offensive end, he provides you a lot of versatility because he can play inside, he can play outside, he runs the floor, and what a lot of people overlook is his ability to pass the ball. So you can run a lot of offense through him, and he'll also get us a lot of rebounds."
