2016: Held will once again be Montana’s go-to long snapper in his redshirt senior season.
2015: Appeared in all 13 of Montana’s games as a redshirt junior… posted three tackles on special teams… Over the summer, he completed a summer research fellowship for the center for structural and functional neuroscience at UM… Named an All-Big Sky Academic team member for third-straight year... Awarded Larry & Kristin Stayner Family Football Scholarship at the annual Lindsay Awards Banquet.
2014: He played in all 14 games and had two tackles, one vs. South Dakota and one unassisted tackle at Cal Poly. He was again named an All-Big Sky Conference academic team selection.
2013: He played in 11 games and snapped in PAT and field goal situations. He was an All-Big Sky Conference academic team selection.
2012: He was a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: He earned two letters in both football and track at El Camino High School. He was team captain in track his senior season. His high school football coach was Adam Reinking.
PERSONAL: He is an honors pre-med double major in Excersise Science and Human Biology. Birth date: Nov. 16, 1994. His parents are Les Held and Janice Shaw of Sacramento.
