Stanford: Brzeczek (pronounced: bress-sick) was a walk-on at Stanford, where he was a redshirt in 2011, and did not see action last season.

High School: He earned three letters in football and four in baseball at Queen Creek High School...head coach was Joe Germaine...as a senior he passed for 2,324 yards and 23 touchdowns, completed 74% of his throws, and rushed for 13 touchdowns...was second team All-Region at quarterback as a senior and honorable mention his junior year...all-state punter as a sophomore...football MVP and team captain as a junior and senior...first team All-Region in baseball as a junior and senior...a member of the National Honor Society...served as senior class president...earned Student-Athlete Award for the class of 2011...National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete Scholarship recipient.

Personal: His parents are Michael and Barb Brzeczek of Queen Creek. His father played football at Augustana College and Benedictine University. He is a business major and is interested in pursuing a career as a vascular surgeon. Birth date: March 5, 1993.
