HIGH SCHOOL: He was a first team all-state selection as an all-purpose player as a senior. His Camas High School team went 11-1 and was ranked sixth in the state, losing 27-24 in overtime to Lake High in a state quarterfinal game his senior year. He rushed 29 times for 152 yards in that state quarterfinal contest. He was a two time first team all-conference pick. His football squads won league champion teams his junior and senior seasons. He also lettered in basketball (three) and track (one). His prep football coach was John Eagle.
CAREER HIGHS: He had five tackles against Oklahoma Panhandle State last season, and also had an interception and a fumble recovery in that game. He had a tackle for loss against Liberty in 2012.
