2016: Thomas will be one of several young linebackers vying for time at linebacker following a solid outing in spring ball…. Posted six tackles (two solo) and 1.5 tackles for loss in the spring game.

2015: Provided depth at linebacker as a redshirt freshman, but did not see playing time.

2014: Was a redshirt.

High School: Thomas was first team all-state as a senior, and also selected to play in the Montana Shrine Game and Bandlands Bowl...a first team all-state pick in track as a sophomore and junior...all-league in football as a junior and senior...team captain in football and track...earned four letters in track and two in football...his high school football coach was Montana Hall of Fame mentor Jack Johnson...career-wise he had 24 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, 15 quarterback hurries, and he blocked four field goals.
