HIGH SCHOOL: He was all-state at wide receiver as a junior and senior at Beaverhead County High School. He was the 2012 Class "A" 100-meter champion, and an all-state performer in that sport. Lettered in track (four), football (three), and basketball (two). His 2011 football team won the state title en route to a 12-0 record. His prep football coach was former (1978-80) Griz player Terry Thomas. He participated in the East-West Shrine Game and the Badlands Bowl. He also started for his prep team's state championship basketball team in 2011.

PERSONAL: He is a business major. His older brother, Bryce, was a four-year letterman at wide receiver for the Grizzlies from 2008-12. His parents are Brett and Nancy Carver of Dillon.
