A former walk-on turned team captain, Hill led the Big Sky and was fifth in the FCS in total tackles his senior season with 128 (43 solo), and was third on the team in TFLs (7.5) and sacks (4)… Also picked off two passes, one he returned 34 yards for a TD against Northern Colorado… Led the team in QB hurries with seven and totaled three pass breakups… Logged one fumble recovery as well… Was a leader on a historic UM defense that allowed just 108.5 yards per game rushing – the third fewest in the FCS and a Big Sky-low. UM also had the FCS's No. 3 third down defense in 2023, allowing teams to convert just 29 percent of the time… Was named the team’s Defensive MVP by the coaches and co-Tony Barbour Award winner for “Player that best exemplifies outstanding practice habits and makes an unselfish contribution to the betterment of the Grizzly Football Team."… Finished his career with 231 total tackles (76 solo), a top 40 mark in UM program history… His 17 TFLs are also tied among UM’s top-40 as well… Made 25 career starts… Earned Academic All-Big Sky honors in the educational leadership graduate program.

Was one of the top-30 tacklers in the Big Sky Conference as a junior with an average of 5.7 stops per game over 12 games for a total of 66 (16 solo)… Also tied as one of the league’s top 20 leaders in sacks with 3… Logged 4 pass breakups as well… Played in 12 games and made 10 starts… Posted a career-high 14 tackles against SEMO in the FCS Playoffs… Scored a safety on a sack against South Dakota… Earned Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week after posting 10 tackles 1.5 TFLs, and .5 sacks in the season opener against Northwestern State, the first weekly honor of his career… Also earned an honorable mention for the Stats Perform national defensive player of the week.
2020-21 (So.): Featured heavily in Montana’s linebacker rotation, seeing time in 12 games… Racked up 27 tackles, including three and a half for loss… Logged a sack at Idaho and at James Madison… Recorded a career-high eight tackles at James Madison, with one TFL.
2019 (Fr.): Appeared in 10 games as a freshman at linebacker and on special teams… Totaled five tackles on the season, including one in three-straight games against Idaho, Weber State, and Montana State… Four of his five tackles were solo take-downs.
2018: Sat out the season as a greyshirt
High School: As a senior, registered 31 tackles in less than two full games before hampered by injury … Recorded 113 tackles in eight games as a junior … As a basketball player, Hill broke the Anaconda High School all-time scoring record with 1,924 points … Averaged 20.46 PPG in his career.
Personal: His older sister Torry Hill played basketball for the Lady Griz ... Earned a degree in elementary education in the spring of 2023.
