Quoting Coach Pflugrad: "His numbers the past two seasons speak for themselves. Chase will also be a tremendous asset for us in the passing game. To say he is under-used is probably inaccurate, but we are going to use him in a few different ways. I'd like to increase his pass receptions by 50 percent. He does a great job catching the football, and he can turn and run quickly, and he's a lot like a wide receiver out there."
"He is a great leader and is on the leadership council that we formed. He's done a great job of telling us his thoughts about our football program, and I have really enjoyed getting to know him."
