Bio
2017: Sprunk returns to lead the Griz as one of four seniors on an experienced offensive line.
2016: Filled in as an injury cover at center in the first game of the season and proceeded to start 10-straight games for the Griz in his junior campaign... With help from the offensive line, Montana produced the nation’s fifth-best passing attack in 2016, averaging 327 yards per game in the air.
2015: Moved inside on the offensive line for his redshirt sophomore season, and made an appearance in four games at center after playing tight end as a freshman.
2014: Played in nine games as a tight end.
2013: He was a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: He was a starter at tight end for the 12-3 Jesuit High School Crusaders his senior season. His high school football coach was Ken Potter. His prep football team lost to eventual 6A champion Sheldon High School 35-28 in the state semi-finals in 2012. He also lettered in basketball. His senior basketball team went 27-3 en route to the league title.
PERSONAL: His major is business. His parents are Eric and Kim Sprunk of Portland. Volunteers at a third-grade class in California to encourage disadvantaged kids to pursue their college dreams.
