2025 (Gr.): Received another year of eligibility with a waiver from the NCAA. Will once again compete for a starting spot on the O-Line… Represented Montana at the Big Sky football kickoff media days in Spokane... Enters the year with 39 appearances and three starts to his name.

Played in 13 games and made three starts at left tackle against Northern Arizona, UC Davis, and Montana St… Received the team’s Tony Barbour Award for “most inspirational player” after battling back from injury to make 39 career appearances… Became a member of the National Football Foundation’s Hampshire Honors Society as a standout on the field and in the classroom
2023 (R-Jr.): Suffered an injury in fall camp and did not see action.

Personal: Originally from North Dakota … Parents are Corey and Michelle Botner of Whitefish … Enjoys skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking and swimming … Family raises kangaroos... Maintained a 3.72 GPA with a post-bac major in cellular and molecular neuroscience, and two bachelor's degrees in biochemistry and biology with a minor in physics… Earned both his undergraduate degrees with Magna Cum Laude honors.
