2015: Donovan is a true freshman for the Griz. He will redshirt the 2015 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rooks earned nine letters at Yuma Catholic HS: four in football, three in track, and two in basketball...his football teams won three state championships in 2011 (12-1), 2013 (11-2), and 2014 (14-0), and his sophomore squad went 10-2...his senior season he had 60 catches for 1,262 yards and 21 touchdowns...all-state at receiver and returner as a senior...career-wise he had 110 catches for 2,575 yards and 35 touchdowns, and he had 4 TDs via returns....his prep coach was Rhett Stallworth.

PERSONAL: Rooks will major in sociology...birth date: Jan. 27, 1997...his parents are Christina and Wayne Rooks of Yuma.
