He served as team captain in football as a senior. He was voted his team's "Defensive Back of the Year," team defensive MVP, and was All- North Idaho both ways as a senior.

Personal: He is a biology major. His parents are Bob and Heidi Stoll of Sandpoint. Birth date: April 26, 1987.
Quoting Coach Pflugrad: "Erik is a very emotional player. He is an extremely hard hitter, and his timing is impeccable. He was not able to hit in the spring (because of an injury), and I think that is going to make him very, very hungry.
"I love his size and speed. I also love his passion for the game of football and how he practices. He is a also member of the leadership council, and he is an excellent leader. He speaks his mind in our meetings, and it is very important that we get his input, because he is a smart student-athlete who has great things to say. He will be a tremendous success in whatever he decides to do in life."
