2025 (R-Sr.): Leonard will be a key contributor to the Grizzly defense and special teams as a senior and could vie for a starting position after increased reps toward the end of his junior season.

Returned to health and made seven appearances, primarily on special teams, but saw increased reps at linebacker as the season went on… Logged 4-plus tackles in each of the last three games… Tallied 15 tackles (5 solo) total on the season… Posted a career-high six stops in the playoff game at South Dakota State…

2023 (R-So.): Was a squad member but missed the season with injury.

2022 (R-Fr.): Made his collegiate debut against Eastern Washington in his only appearance that season… Picked up 2 tackles, one for a loss in that game

2021 (Fr.): Was a redshirt in his first season

High School: A four-year letterman at Sentinel… Helped lead the Spartans to a 10-0 record and the State AA championship as a senior… Named the State AA Defensive Player of the Year and the co-Western AA Defensive Player of the year as a senior… Earned first-team All-State and All-Conference honors on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball as an O-lineman and linebacker in 2020… As a junior was named second-team all-state as a linebacker and first-team all-conference on the offensive line… Named team captain as a junior and senior… Named team weight room MVP as a junior… Prep coach was former Grizzly Dane Oliver.

Personal: The son of Tara and Brad Leonard of Missoula… Cousin Dan Orizotti was a member of the 2001 National Champion Grizzlies… Grandfather Gene Leonard played for the Grizzlies from 1962-63 and is also the former head coach at Sentinel High School… Earned a degree in marketing from UM in the spring of 2024.
