2018: Posted 61 tackles (30 solo), deflected 7 passes and had a pair of interceptions … Made his impact felt vs. Cal Poly (9/29) as he put up a season-high (tied career-high) with 10 tackles on the day ... Sandry recorded 5 tackles and half of a TFL in a road matchup vs. North Dakota (10/13) ... Sandry contributed to his team’s win with 4 tackles and an interception at Southern Utah (11/3) ... Sandry made quite the impact in a Grizzly road victory of Idaho (11/10) putting up 8 solo tackles (career-high) and returning an interception 29 yards ... 2017: 10/14 ROOT Sports Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week … Notched three interceptions on the year, tying him for the eighth-most in the Big Sky … Started all 11 games at strong safety for UM … Posted a statistic in nearly every defensive category … Scored Montana’s only touchdown against #7 Washington by intercepting a pass from Heisman candidate Jake Browning and returning it 36 yards for a score … Named ROOT Sports Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week after the North Dakota game where he registered seven tackles, a half-sack, a forced fumble, a pass breakup and returned an interception 74 yards … Posted a career-high 10 tackles against Eastern Washington ... 2016:Sandry played in 11 games, recording 30 tackles … Had 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks … registered one pass breakup and one pass deflection … Recovered a fumble … Had nine tackles in the season-opener against Saint Francis... Was again awarded the Michael R. Jorgensen Endowment Fund scholarship at the annual Lindsay Awards Banquet

HIGH SCHOOL:Sandry was an all-state class "B" selection as a junior and senior, and voted team MVP those seasons as well ... Team captain for the Vikings as a senior in football and as a junior in hoops ... Also all-state pick at safety as a senior ... Played defensive back and handled punting/kicking, and was a returner ... His prep football coach was Todd Emslie... He was also all-state in basketball his junior year and co-MVP of the 2014 state tournament, helping Bigfork to its first state title ... All-state performer in track as a sophomore and junior, and state high jump champion his junior year.

PERSONAL:Sandryis a finance major at UM ... His parents are Christine and Paul Sandryof Bigfork... His grandfather, Bruce Olson, was a quarterback at Montana and lettered in 1957-58.
