MONTANA: Kevin had a good fall camp which should add up to playing time.

2011-12-13: He was a squad member at UM.

2010: He redshirted at Montana.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was an all-state running back and safety at Loyola Sacred Heart High School as a senior when he rushed 138 times for 953 yards, and had 84 tackles on defense. He was named all-conference pick both ways as a junior and senior. He played in the Class B All-Star Game in 2010. Served as a team captain in football his senior year. He earned nine letters: four each in football and track, and one in wrestling. His teams won conference football titles in 2006, 2008, and 2009. His high school football coach was Dan Weber.

PERSONAL: He is a history major. Birth date: Sept. 27, 1991. His parents are Robert and Karen Berland of Missoula.
