High School: He prepped at nearby Elk Grove High School, where he played quarterback and defensive back...as a senior he rushed for 398 yards and 11 touchdowns and also passed for 711 yards and six scores...chosen MVP as a junior and senior for teams that went 12-2 and 13-1 en route to conference titles.
