Was a squad member but did not see action... Was named the Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year at the team end-of-season banquet.

2022 (Fr.): Was a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport standout in football, lacrosse, and wrestling… Was a two-way All-CWAC pick on the offensive and defensive lines… Earned first team all-conference honors at offensive tackle… Played in the Earl Barden Classic All-Star game at center… As a junior wrestler placed fifth in the Class 2A heavyweight bracket at Mat Classic and posted a 35-5 season record…. Was a team captain and MVP for his lacrosse team.

PERSONAL: Parents are Jason and Jackie Ray… Dad Jason lettered at nose guard for the Grizzlies from 1985-88 and was the co-recipient of the Sims/Miller Award for the team’s top defensive lineman in 1986. He blocked two punts in a Grizzly win over the Bobcats before retiring due to injury.
