Bio
2015: Harris will be an important player at the cornerback position for the Grizzlies this year and will start for the third year in a row. Picked as honorable mention by USA College Football FCS for the preseason All-American team.
2014: Harris started for the second season in a row at the field cornerback position. He started in all but one game. Nate had a total of 55 tackles at 3.5 tackles per game with a loss of 12 yards per game. He had one interception at Southern Utah. He had seven pass breakups on the season. He was on the Big Sky Conference all-conference team as honorable mention on defense.
2013: He started all 13 games and was UM’s 12th leading tackler with 38 stops. He tied two other players for the team lead in interceptions with three, and he had a team-high 60 return yards on those picks. He was an All-Big Sky Conference honorable mention selection. He was an All-Big Sky academic team selection.
2012: He played in 10 games and started in two. He was 14th on the team with 26 tackles.

HIGH SCHOOL: He was named first team All-C.I.F. and first team all-league at running back and cornerback as a senior at Chino Hills High School when he rushed for 1,169 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was also an exceptional defensive back and had three interceptions in 2010. His senior squad went 10-3. His prep coach was Matt McCain.
CAREER HIGHS: He had 11 tackles at Sacramento State last season, including nine unassisted stops.
PERSONAL: His major is sociology. Birth date: Sept. 2, 1993. His parents are Michael and Monique Harris of Chino Hills.
