He was a second team all-league pick at kicker, and honorable mention all-state at punter and kicker as a senior. He served as a team captain in football. He was tabbed team MVP and special teams MVP his senior year. His head football coach was Matt Johnson. He lettered three times in football and track, and twice in basketball.
