Cochran contributed to his team’s win at Southern Utah (11/3) with 2 solo tackles and a TFL ... Cochran played in 10 games for the Grizzlies this season, and started in his final 2 games as a Grizzly ... Totaled 11 tackles and a TFL on the season.

2017: Played in all 11 games for the Griz as a backup linebacker and on special teams … Registered 20 tackles, 10 solo … Posted 3 TFLs for a total loss of seven yards … Also got in on a half-sack … Forced a fumble against Idaho State …

2016: Played in eight games as a sophomore … Recorded eight tackles, three of them solo … Had one sack and one tackle for loss … Season-high three tackles and his sack and TFL came in game against Miss. Valley State Oct. 8... Awarded the Colleen Marks Athletic Scholarship at the annual Lindsay Awards Banquet.

2015: Provided depth at linebacker, but did not see playing time.

2014: Was a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: He earned 10 letters: four in football, and three in both basketball and track… A first team all-state and all-conference selection at running back and linebacker as a junior and senior… Rushed for 1,589 yards and 28 touchdowns, and averaged 8.5 yards a run, and also had 85 tackles on defense… Was team captain as a senior for his 8-2 team… Prep coach was David Helmer his senior year, and Rob Oelkers previous three seasons.

PERSONAL: A communications major … His parents are Laurie and Larry Pearson and Cory and Kathryn Cochran of Culbertson.
