HIGH SCHOOL: Jackson was a two-sport star at Gilbert HS in Gilbert, Ariz., where he earned two letters each in football and track and field (shotput and discus) … He was captain of the football team for Coach Derek Zellner … Jackson was the most improved player his junior year, All-State his senior year and All-Conference his junior and senior years.

PERSONAL: An anthropology major … His parents are Christina and Daryl Hall and Dustin Jackson of Gilbert … His great uncle Steve Roehl ran track at UM in the 1970s.
