2017: Second Team All-Big Sky... The Malta native led the Big Sky Conference in tackles-for-loss (15.5) and led the Grizzlies in sacks (8.5)... Also produced the second-most forced fumbles in the league (3) and recovered the third-most fumbles (3).
2016: Schye played in all 11 games recording 28 tackles … Fifth on the team with seven tackles for loss … Broke up three passes and also had three pass deflections … Recorded one sack … Recorded a tackle in all 11 games … Season-high six tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss against Sacramento State on Oct. 15 … Recovered a fumble against Idaho State on Nov. 15... Awarded the John Kolendich Memorial Scholarship at the annual Lindsay Awards Banquet.
2015: Moved from linebacker to defensive end … Played in all 13 games… Posted 14 tackles (six solo)… notched five tackles for loss.
2014: Schye played in all 14 games backing up Jeremiah Kose at linebacker … He had 21 total tackles, nine unassisted. He had one pass breakup.
2013: He was a redshirt... He was named UM's "Scout Team Player of the Year" on defense.
HIGH SCHOOL: He was the defensive leader for the State B runner-up Malta Mustangs as a senior, and team captain and MVP that season... He racked up 100 tackles in 12 games, including 20 sacks his senior year... He had 10 forced fumbles, including five in the playoffs, as well as an interception that he returned for a touchdown... He was all-state in football in 2011 and 2012. Named to Great Falls Tribune's Super State team... He was named his football team's "Outstanding Defensive Player" as a junior... He earned 11 letters: four each in football and track, and three in basketball. His prep football coach was Scott King.
