2015: Lucas is a redshirt senior transfer to Montana from Penn State, and De Anza Community College. He will add more depth, experience and height to the corps of wide receivers.

2014: Lucas returned to PSU served as the backup QB for the Nittany Lions.

2013: He transferred to De Anza CC and saw time at both QB and wide receiver. In one season he hauled in 58 catches for 695 yards and 11 TDs as a receiver. As a QB, he had 14 completions for 227 yards and three TDs.

2012: Lucas was a redshirt freshman at Penn State, but saw limited time on due to an injury.

2011: Lucas redshirted at Penn State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lucas was selected to the all-Nittany Division team as a quarterback at Bellefont HS under coach Duffy Besch. Lucas completed 132 passes for 1,841 yards while rushing for 350 more during his senior season. He added 15 passing touchdowns and five rushing TDs. He played in the 2011 Lezzer Lumber Classic, where he threw for 101 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 29 yards. He was also on the wrestling team.

PERSONAL: Lucas’ major is Criminology… He hopes to work in government to follow in his father’s footsteps…. Spent 12 years of his life living in England. His parents are Rodney and Vanessa Lucas of Bellefonte, Penn. Tyler played at Penn State with his older brother Kyle who was a linebacker for the Nittany Lions. Born on February 23, 1993 in Panama City, Panama.
