HIGH SCHOOL: He was a three-year starter at Senior High School at safety. He was first team all-state as a senior. His senior season he had 79 tackles, including 59 solos, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and blocked kick, along with 10 pass break-ups. His high school coach was former UM football player Mark Sulser (1987-88). He participated in the annual East-West Shrine Game.
PERSONAL: His brother Sam was a was a wide receiver for the Griz from 2009-12, while his dad, Scott, was a starting linebacker at UM from 1979-82. His major is psychology. Birth date: Dec. 24, 1992. His mom is Shelley Haughton of Billings. His dad is Scott Gratton of Missoula.
