Played in 176 sets across 63 matches throughout her career, recording 241 kills and 140 blocks.
2019 (Senior): Thin Air Challenge all-tournament team (Sept. 21)… Gonzaga Invitational all-tournament team (Sept. 7)… Aggie Invitational all-tournament team (Aug. 31)… Academic All-Big Sky Conference… After playing sporadically through her first three seasons, including six kills in nine matches in 2018, became Montana’s top blocker and most efficient hitter in 2019… Started all 28 matches she played in, becoming one of the Big Sky Conference’s top middle blockers… Finished senior season with 213 kills (2.05 per set, third on the team)… Led all UM attackers with a .212 hitting percentage… Led Montana for blocking (95, 0.91 per set)… Led Montana for points before a finger injury in late October sidelined her for two matches and forced her to wear a cast for the remainder of the season… Prior to her injury, ranked in the top 10 in the Big Sky for both blocking and hitting percentage… Led Montana for blocking 17 times, kills nine times and hitting percentage in seven matches… Opened season with a 10-kill performance, hitting .500, at UC Davis (Aug. 30)… Totaled 11 kills on .429 hitting vs. Grand Canyon (Sept. 7)… In a five-set win at Air Force (Sept. 20), led all players with 17 kills on a career-best .556 hitting (17-2-27), also adding six blocks… Posted a dozen kills on .524 hitting vs. Idaho (Oct. 4)… In a five-set match at Northern Arizona (Oct. 12), tallied a career-high 19 kills on .462 hitting, in addition to six blocks… Just one other Big Sky player in 2019 recorded at least 19 kills and hit above .450… Tallied 10 kills on .429 hitting vs. Northern Colorado (Nov. 1)… Recorded 11 kills in a come-from-behind win at Idaho (Nov. 7), Montana’s first in Moscow since 1991… Six times recorded at least 10 kills while hitting .400 or better… Had three or more blocks in five consecutive matches from Aug. 30-Sept. 7… Reached six or more blocks in five different matches, including three consecutive matches from Oct. 10-17, twice tallying a career-high seven… Helped Montana rank fourth in Big Sky play for blocking, after ranking 10th two years prior.
2018 (Junior): Heart of the Grizzly award winner… The annual award is voted on by the coaching staff and given to a player whose character and work ethic represent a Grizzly and what the program strives to be about… Played in 20 sets over nine matches, earning three starts… Averaged 0.90 blocks per set, totaling 20 on the season… Had six blocks in back-to-back matches, vs. Iowa State (Aug. 31) and Gonzaga (Sept. 1), leading the Grizzlies in that category in both contests… Against the Cyclones, a team that was receiving top-25 votes at the time, Grimsrud recorded back-to-back stuffs in the second set to give Montana a 15-8 lead and force an Iowa State timeout… In a five-set win over Gonzaga, she had six more blocks… After not playing in the opening set at Southern Utah (Oct. 4), she was credited for being a spark in Set 2, recording two kills and a pair of blocks.
2017 (Sophomore): Played in 14 of 29 matches, earning five starts... Finished the season with 12 kills (0.41 per set)... Tied for fifth on the team with 29 blocks... Had four kills on .500 hitting in Montana's season-opening win over UTEPÂ (Aug. 25) and five kills on .400 hitting in a 3-2 home win over Southern Utah (Oct. 19)... Totaled six blocks vs. Illinois-Chicago (Sept. 15) and five at Idaho State (Oct. 5).
