2022 (5th Year): Became Montana’s career record holder for digs with 1,885 … One-time Big Sky Conference Player of the Week… Hampton Inn Invitational All-Tournament Team… Montana’s Team MVP… Started all 29 matches at libero, played in 106 sets… fourth time in her career that Moreno played at least 100 sets in a season, and third year that she recorded at least 400 digs… Led Montana with 465 digs, second in the Big Sky averaging 4.39 digs/set, both career highs… 465 digs were the sixth most in a single-season in Montana history… second on Montana with 91 assists… fourth on the team with 20 service aces… had 20+ digs in seven matches, including the final two… recorded double-digit digs in 24 of Montana’s 29 matches, including the final 15 matches… set a new career-high with 35 digs in a win over Northern Arizona (Oct. 13), becoming just the seventh Grizzly to reach that mark… earned Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week as a result… recorded a double-double against Weber State (Oct. 20) with 16 digs and 10 assists… had 22 digs in consecutive matches against Idaho State and Eastern Washington (Oct. 22-27)… recorded 20+ digs in the regular season finale at Weber State (Nov. 19) and in the tournament match against Sacramento State (Nov. 23)… had six matches with multiple service aces… recorded at least one ace in six of the final seven matches of the season.
2021 (Senior): Voted team’s Most Valuable Player, by her peers, for the second season in a row… Started all 27 matches at libero, accumulating 411 digs… Ranked third in Big Sky Conference play with 4.03 digs per set… Also led Montana for service aces (25) and ranked third for serve-receive percentage (.936)… Was in double figures for digs in 25 of 27 matches, including the first 10 (Aug. 28-Sept. 18) and final eight (Oct. 23-Nov. 18)… Despite just four sets, recorded a season-high 31 digs (second-most in her career) vs. Idaho State (Sept. 30), the third-most in the Big Sky in 2021…Recorded 20 or more digs five times, including 25 in a five-set win over Seattle (Sept. 1)… Totaled 20-plus digs in back-to-back matches at Eastern Washington (23, Oct. 9) and vs. Portland State (22, Oct. 14)… Recorded her first double-double in a road win at Montana State (Oct. 26), totaling 14 assists and 13 digs… Had a service ace in 14 different match, including multiple service aces eight times… Totaled three aces vs. Eastern Michigan (Aug. 28) and in a three-set win over Eastern Washington (Nov. 4)... Spring 2021 (Junior): Voted team’s Most Valuable Player, by her peers, at end-of-season banquet… Started 13 matches at libero, leading Montana with 206 digs… Ranked fifth in the Big Sky Conference with 4.04 digs per set… Led Montana with a .951 serve-receive percentage, while being targeted 329 times (second on the team)… Led Montana for digs 10 times and was in double figures for the category in all but two matches… Missed three matches (Feb. 15-22) due to an ankle injury, but returned to the court Feb. 28 vs. Idaho, recording 20 digs in a five-set win over the Vandals… After returning from injury, she averaged 4.52 digs per set over the final six matches of the season, totaling 19 digs or more in five of those contests… Her 25 digs in the season finale vs. Sacramento State (March 22), were the fourth-most in a four-set match by a Big Sky athlete all season… During that match, she picked up her 1,000th career dig… Ranked fifth on the team with seven service aces, including an ace in four consecutive matches late in the season (March 1-21).
2019 (Sophomore): Played in 29 of 30 matches, starting 27 at libero and earning starts as a defensive specialist in the other two matches… Totaled a team-best 375 digs (3.44 digs per set)… Added 21 service aces, which ranked second on the team… Ranked second on the team with a .937 serve-receive percentage… Helped Montana out-dig its opponent in 13 of its final 16 regular-season matches… Was in double figures for digs 19 times, including the final nine regular-season matches… Reached 20 digs six times, including a season-high 27 at Northern Arizona (Oct. 12) and 24 in a four-set win at Idaho State (Nov. 23), which punched Montana’s ticket to the Big Sky tournament… Also reached 20 digs at Southern Utah (21, Oct. 10); vs. Northern Colorado (23, Nov. 1); at Eastern Washington (22, Nov. 8); and vs. Northern Arizona (20, Nov. 14)… Recorded 15 digs in a three-set win over Eastern Washington (Oct. 3)… In the match at Eastern Washington, she also added three service aces… Had a service ace in 14 different matches, recording multiple aces six times… Led Montana for aces in five matches.
2018 (Freshman): Voted team’s Most Improved Player, by her peers, at end-of-season banquet… Academic All-Big Sky Conference… Played in 28 of 31 matches at libero, starting Montana's final 27 contests... Her 429 digs are the 11th-most in single-season school history, and the most ever by a freshman… Ranked seventh in the Big Sky with 4.49 digs per set during league play... Led the team with a .933 serve-receive percentage… Also added 18 service aces, which ranked third on the team… Totaled multiple service aces in a match six times, including three at CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 14)… During a five-match stretch from Sept. 14-25, recorded eight aces, including at least one in all five contests… Recorded at least 10 digs in 25 of the 27 matches she started, including 15 in a row from Aug. 31-Oct. 11… Had a career-high 32 digs in a five-set win at Southern Utah (Oct. 4)… The total was the sixth-most by a Big Sky player in 2018… The following match, at Northern Arizona (Oct. 6), she recorded 23 digs in just three sets… During a seven-match stretch from Aug. 31-Sept. 14, Montana was out-dug just once (in a victory at UTEP, Sept. 8)… Made her collegiate debut vs. No. 22 Utah, recording six digs in two sets.
