Pat Kennedy Cage Camp now accepting applications

Applications are now available for all three of Pat Kennedy's 2003 Cage Camps, with the first one, the Position Development Camp, running from June 18-20.
The other two camps: Competition Team Camp, June 30-July 3, and Day Camp, which goes from July 21-25. Former Hellgate High School boy's head basketball coach Eric Hays will serve as the program director for all three camps.
Griz head coach Pat Kennedy, the executive director of the camps, has more than 30 years of experience in summer camps. He also oversees the most successful family-started camp in the country,held annually in the Poconos.
Also working with Kennedy in camp instruction are UM assistant coaches Ronnie Dean, Rodney McConnell, Rob Norris, and Wayne Tinkle, in addition to numerous outstanding high school and college coaches from the Northwest, along with current and former Griz players.
The Position Development Camp is for boys entering grades 5-12 and comprises instruction on fundamentals, position skill work, post play techniques, one-on-one, and three-on-three. Costs vary from $165 to $215, depending arrangements made for lodging and meals.
The Competition/Team Camp is June 30-July 3, also includes boys starting grades 5-12, and features a five-on-five league tournament, one-one-one and three-on-three cutthroat competition, hot shot and top gun competition, and free throw championships. Cost ranges from $195 to $265, once again depending on the lodging and meal plan the camper wishes.
A $50 deposit is required for the Position Development and Competition/Team Camps.
Day Camp runs from July 21-25 and is for boys entering grades 1-10. The camp is divided into two sessions. The first session is for grades 1-5 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The second session if for grades 6-10 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A $30 deposit is required, and the cost of the day camp is $80.
Each camper gets an official Griz Cage Camp ball and high-quality Nike T-shirt.
