Tyler named co-player of the week

Montana's Hollie Tyler and Idaho State's Annie Anderson were selected as Co-Players of the Week based on their outstanding performances last week.
Hollie Tyler helped the Lady Griz to a 2-0 record over the weekend to extend their winning-streak to 10-straight, after averaging 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocked shots and a .536 field goal percentage last week.
In the win over Weber State, Tyler knocked in 18 points, while pulling down five rebounds. The Wildcats cut the UM lead to two points three times in the final 4:37 in the game, and each time it was Tyler who scored on the Lady Griz' next possession to keep the lead for Montana.
In the win over Idaho State, Tyler had 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, one block, one steal and one trey.
Annie Anderson earned her third Player of the Week Award after recording back-to-back double-doubles and helping ISU to a 1-1 record last week.
In the win over Montana State, Anderson tallied 22 points and 10 rebounds, hitting 8-of-14 from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line. The senior added two blocks and two steals in the effort.
Anderson bounced back Saturday night with 21 points , 12 rebounds and 9-of-14 from the field against Montana.
For the week, Anderson averaged a league-best 21.5 points and 11 rebounds per game, while also shooting 60.7 from the field and 75 percent from the foul line.
