Griz fall to Weber State, 76-62

Junior Kevin Criswell and freshman Andrew Strait both scored 14 points but it was not enough as The University of Montana men's basketball team fell at Weber State on Saturday night, 76-62.
The Grizzlies, who host Montana state next Saturday, dropped to 7-8 overall, 1-1 in Big Sky Conference play. The Wildcats improved to 5-9, 1-2 in league play.
Jamaal Jenkins scored a career high 15 points and had a career high seven assists to lead the Wildcat attack.
Weber State led from wire to wire, taking a 38-28 halftime lead, a half in which the Wildcats did not commit a single turnovers and held the Grizzlies to just 39 percent shooting.
Lance Allred recorded eighth "double/double" of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The Grizzlies held Allred to just two first half points on 1-of-6 shooting, but he scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds in the second half. One of his four baskets for the game was a three-pointer, his first attempt from beyond the arc this season.
Weber State lost at home to Montana State on Thursday night, 76-67. Montana overwhelmed Idaho State 71-40 on the road Thursday.
