Grizzlies face Western Oregon, Utah Valley State

THE GAMES:
The University of Montana Grizzlies (1-1/0-0 Big Sky Conference) continue their 2005-06 non-league season at home this Friday, November 25, and Tuesday, November 29, hosting the Western Oregon Wolves (2-1) and the Utah Valley State Wolverines (2-2), in UM??s Adams Center/Dahlberg Arena (7,321).
RADIO:
Montana??s flagship station is KGVO-AM (1290) Radio of Missoula. Now in his 13th season calling the play-by-play for the men??s team and his 21st overall is the Voice of the Griz is Mick Holien. The Larry Krystkowiak Radio Show, hosted by Holien, is broadcast live every Monday from 7:00-6:30 p.m., from Paradise Falls on KGVO.
GRIZ LAST TWO GAMES:
Montana was out-scored by 27 points in the second half, losing 90-69 at Boise State in its season opener (Nov. 18). Sophomore guard Matt Martin led the Griz with 19 points. UM led 40-34 at intermission but was out-scored 56-29 in the second half. Three days later the Griz were red-hot and defeated host Loyola Marymount 81-75. Montana shot 27-of-50 (54.0%) from the floor and 23-of-26 (88.5%) from the line. Senior guard Kevin Criswell led the Griz with 24 points, while forward Andrew Strait tallied 19 points and made 8-of-8 shots from the field and he also had a game-high nine rebounds.
GRIZ LAST YEAR:
Montana was 18-13 overall last season and 9-5 (tied for second) in the Big Sky and won the Big Sky??s post-season tourney and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the sixth time in school history, losing 88-77 to the Washington Huskies in a 1st-round NCAA game played in Boise, Idaho.
