Conway named player of the week

Montana??s Dana Conway was selected as this week??s Player of the Week after leading the Lady Griz to their 23rd Holiday Classic title.
In a 79-43 win over New Orleans, Conway notched 16 points and eight rebounds while shooting over 55 percent from the field, including 4-of-5 from long range. The sophomore also had three assists and one steal in the game.
Against UNC-Asheville, Conway again scored 16 points and finished the night shooting 36 percent from the field. The Billings, Mont., native also had six rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in the win.
For the week, Conway averaged 16 points and seven rebounds per game, and hit 6-of-9 from long range to earn MVP honors.
