Montana stays on the road for Weber State

THE GAME: The University of Montana Grizzlies (3-2/9-8) continue their current three-game Big Sky Conference road trip, playing the Weber State Wildcats (3-1/9-8) on Saturday, Jan. 17, in WSU???s Dee Events Center (12,000). Tip-off is at 7:05 p.m. (Mtn.).
GRIZ ON RADIO/TV: Veteran Mick Holien calls the action on UM???s flagship station, KXGZ-FM (101.5) of Missoula. There is no TV coverage scheduled for the game.
NEXT FOR GRIZ?: Montana is at Eastern Washington next Wednesday, Jan. 21, and then hosts Northern Colorado on Sunday, Jan. 25, for a 2:05 p.m. game aired live on Altitude TV.
CAPSULE OF MONTANA???S LAST GAME:
At Idaho State 77, Montana 67: Junior guard Amorrow Morgan scored a game-high 23 points to lead the host Bengals. The Grizzlies took a 48-45 lead with 10:44 left to play, on a lay-up by sophomore center Brian Qvale, but ISU took the lead for good at 51-50 with 8:34 remaining on a pair of free throws by senior guard Matt Stucki. After Stucki???s two free throws the Bengals out-scored the Grizzlies 17 to 4 over the next four-plus minutes and took a 68-54 lead on a three-point play by Morgan with 4:28 left. Stucki had 17 points, while junior guard Austin Kilpatrick added 10. The Griz were led by Anthony Johnson with 20 points, while Jordan Hasquet had his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Kyle Sharp added 10 points.
