Quarterfinal tickets available starting Monday

Montana and Montana State will meet for the third time this season when the Grizzlies and Bobcats meet Saturday at 7 p.m. at Dahlberg Arena in a quarterfinal game of the 2009 Big Sky Conference men???s basketball tournament. Montana (17-11, 11-5 BSC) earned the No. 3 seed to the tournament, while Montana State (12-15, 6-9 BSC), which hosts regular-season champion Weber State Tuesday in its regular-season finale, earned the No. 6 seed.

In the tournament???s other quarterfinal game Saturday, No. 4 Idaho State (12-18, 9-7 BSC) hosts No. 5 Northern Colorado (14-17, 8-8 BSC).

Weber State (2-8, 14-1 BSC) will host the semifinals and championship game Tuesday and Wednesday, March 10-11, in Ogden, Utah.

Portland State (21-9, 11-5 BSC) earned the Big Sky???s No. 2 seed and received a bye, along with the Wildcats, to the semifinals.

PSU will play in the first semifinal at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, against the highest remaining seed from the quarterfinal winners. WSU will face the lowest remaining seed in the second semifinal at 7:30 p.m.

Both semifinal games will be broadcast on Altitude2.

The championship game will air on ESPN2 on Wednesday, March 11, at 7 p.m.

Tickets for the Montana-Montana State game will go on sale on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the Adams Center ticket office and online at griztix.com. The ticket office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Ticket prices are $8 for general admission and range from $10 to $15 for reserved seating. A small number of courtside seats are available for $35 and $45.
??
UM students will be able to purchase tickets on the east side and north end of the lower section for $5 beginning Monday. Students are reminded they need a student ID to purchase tickets and when entering Dahlberg Arena.
??
Montana won the first two meetings over the Bobcats, posting a 73-59 victory at home in early January and a 78-63 win at Bozeman in early February.
