The Lady Griz basketball program will hold its seventh annual Texas Hold `em poker tournament on Sunday, April 28, at Paradise Falls in Missoula.
The tournament is one of the program's primary fundraisers and goes toward assisting with fifth-year scholarships, recruiting efforts and other non-budgeted expenses important to the ongoing success of the Montana women's basketball program.
There are a number of ways to participate in the tournament:
* Be a sponsor (see attached sponsorship form above)
* Play in the tournament (see attached player form above)
* Donate a raffle item (contact Trish Duce at 243-5779)
The community of Missoula plays a huge role in the success of the Lady Griz, who last winter won 20 or more games for the 28th time in coach Robin Selvig's 35 seasons. The Montana players and coaches would love to have their fans join them for this fun event that supports their program.
